Life Center Academy’s Boys Varsity Basketball program has earned a national reputation for excellence—combining elite athletic performance with academic achievement and strong Christian character. Competing in the Penn-Jersey Athletic Association (PJAA) and regularly facing nationally ranked programs like The Patrick School and St. Benedict’s Prep, our team is tested and prepared at the highest level.

The Program
LCA basketball players are more than athletes—they are leaders in the classroom, servant-hearted in the community, and committed to becoming men of integrity. With guidance from a dedicated coaching staff, student-athletes are challenged to grow in every area of life. In 2021, two varsity players earned recognition in LCA’s 4.0 GPA Club, reflecting our strong emphasis on academic excellence. Life Center Academy isn’t just a basketball school—it’s one of the nation’s top Christian preparatory schools.

Path to College
Players who aspire to compete at the next level receive one-on-one advisement and attend NCAA recruiting seminars. With deep relationships across NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, NJCAA, and NCCAA programs, our coaching staff works to maximize exposure through regular competition, showcases, and recruiting tools such as highlight reels and social media strategy.
Many of our alumni have gone on to play at the collegiate level—and beyond. Notably, Dion Waiters, an LCA graduate, became an NBA Champion in 2020 with the Los Angeles Lakers.
At Life Center Academy, we’re focused on developing not only great basketball players, but great men—future leaders ready to impact the world.

Varsity Girls Basketball

LCA Girls Basketball

Life Center Academy’s Varsity Girls Basketball program is recognized as one of the premier programs in the nation, known for its unique combination of athletic excellence, academic achievement, and Christ-centered leadership. Competing in high-level tournaments—including the Tournament of Champions in Arizona—and against top teams like Trenton Catholic, Paul VI, and St. Thomas Aquinas, our Lady Warriors consistently rise to the challenge.

The Program
LCA players are more than athletes—they are leaders in the classroom, active in their communities, and committed to becoming women of strong character and faith. We believe in developing not just great basketball players, but great women who will lead with purpose and impact.

As NACA National Champions in 2013, the Lady Warriors continue to play a nationally competitive, independent schedule that includes elite showcase events across the country.

Path to College
Student-athletes are supported through personalized NCAA recruiting guidance, including one-on-one advisement and exposure through college showcases. With strong relationships across all collegiate divisions (NCAA DI, DII, DIII, NAIA, NJCAA, NCCAA), our athletes are seen by top programs at both home and away games.

Players are equipped with tools for success—highlight reels, social media strategy, and recruiting platforms—ensuring they reach their full potential. Currently, multiple alumni play at the NCAA Division I level, including Tera Reed (VCU) and Imani Lewis (Duke University), who each scored over 1,000 career points in college play.

At Life Center Academy, we’re committed to shaping strong, confident young women who honor God and compete with passion.

Middle School Basketball

Life Center Academy’s Middle School Basketball program is a co-ed program for students in grades 6–8 and focuses on building strong fundamentals, teamwork, and individual skill development in a Christ-centered environment.

The team competes in the Eastern Burlington County League and practices Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:00–4:30 PM during the season. Participation requires a current athletic physical on file with the school nurse.

This program provides a great foundation for students looking to grow as athletes and prepare for future competitive play at the high school level.
